Queens in the Copper CityThe Miss Copper City Scholarship Organization was formed after experiencing first hand the impact that community service based pageants have on the confidence and self-esteem of young girls. It developed as a natural progression from a youth mentoring program to a multi-tiered scholarship organization.
The inaugural Miss Copper City pageant was held at the Rome Campus of Mohawk Valley Community College. There, Ashley Davis won the crown and spent her year bouncing between her hometown on Staten Island and her crowntown of Rome. She competed at the state pageant and made the Copper City incredibly proud. Heavily impacted by the success of it's first year, the Miss Copper City Organization has grown to include a second title: Miss Revere. |
Each year we will crown two titleholders to represent our beloved city of Rome, NY. The Miss Copper City Family also extends beyond the Miss titleholders, encompassing two Outstanding Teens, Preteens, and Princesses. All of the Copper City representatives are dedicated to community service, academic excellence, and building self-confidence and friendships.

Our Beliefs |
We believe that beauty shines from within. Empowerment through service is far more beautiful than what lies on the surface. By being active in the community, we can truly make a difference in the world. We believe that it is never too early to promote a sense of pride, develop confidence, and serve as role models and advocates for causes we care about.

Our Mission |
Our mission is to seek out beautiful, intelligent, and talent titleholders who will serve as ambassadors to Rome, the Copper City, as they fulfill their reigns across the state. We want to find young women who best demonstrate Four Points of the Crown- service, style, success, and scholarship. They will serve as active members in the community, embody the spirit of the Miss America Organization, champion a personal platform, and work towards goal of academic achievements. We will mentor and guide these ladies to become her personal best: confident, dedicated, passionate, and most of all she will be a champion for community service and outreach programs.
